November 2nd, 2019, marked a day filled with love, laughter, and dancing at the picturesque Sweet Arrow Lake County Park and The Lodge at Twin Grove RV and Resort Cottages. I had the pleasure of capturing Ashley and Dan’s beautiful fall wedding, set against the stunning backdrop of Central Pennsylvania’s mountains.

A Day Full of Love and Laid-Back Vibes

From the start, Ashley and Dan were determined to make their wedding day memorable not just for themselves but for all their guests. Even as the schedule slipped a bit, their easygoing nature ensured that everything fell into place perfectly. Their wedding was a testament to their relaxed and loving approach to life.

Getting Ready and The First Look

The getting-ready process was lively yet smooth, with a bridal party that was a joy to work with—completely drama-free. Ashley and Dan opted for a first look, which, despite a slight delay, was a beautiful moment filled with genuine emotions. Capturing their reactions was truly special.

The Ceremony: A Picturesque Fall Setting

The ceremony took place at Sweet Arrow Lake County Park, a breathtaking location ideal for a fall wedding. Surrounded by vibrant fall foliage and overlooking the serene lake, the setting was nothing short of magical. Ashley was stunning in a glamorous, mermaid-style dress with long sleeves, while Dan looked sharp in a dark blue suit. The bridesmaids in shades of purple and the groomsmen in gray complemented the rustic, autumnal theme beautifully.

The Reception: A Night to Remember

As the day transitioned into night, the reception at The Lodge at Twin Grove turned into a high-energy celebration. From heartfelt speeches and a touching first dance to a lively party that lasted into the night, the joy was palpable. The dance floor was never empty, and the atmosphere was electrifying—a true celebration of love and friendship.

Reflecting on a Wonderful Day

As I edit and look back on the photos, I’m reminded of the fantastic time had by all. It was not just a day to remember for Ashley and Dan, but also a wonderful experience for me as their photographer. My only wish is that I had shared these moments on my blog sooner!

I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them, capturing the essence of a truly special day.
